Speaking of Facebook
Speaking of Facebook in the previous post, the results of their vote, with regards to their Users Rights, are in. Here is a post from Facebook’s Legal Guy. A preliminary count suggests that 74% approved the new Terms. But only 600,000 out of 2 million people voted. And Facebook actually set a threshold of 30% of the people must vote to make it legally binding.
In the proposed Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, they don’t claim ownership of the the posted content. And the stuff you post is “subject to your privacy and application settings”.
